Coming back to Vienna, Austria, after 7 years, was a pleasure, but I had different feeling. My travel experience changed me a lot in these years and I can see now all things in a another light. And it is always a pleasure to come back in a lovely place and just walk, see, observe and enjoy every minute
We didn’t have too much time to visit again Vienna, but without visiting any museum or castle inside, we needed 1 full day to see the most important things…for the second time. For sure, if you want to go for the first time, you need at least 2-3 days and it’s all worth it.
Vienna is a link between eastern and western Europe, a chic, touristic and classic place that will never get old. Seeing all the old and beautiful buildings makes you travel in time and imagine how people used to live and you can almost hear the music from the famous Viennese balls. What a charm!
When you are in Vienna, no matter how much time you have, you can not miss Schoenbrunn Palace, the most beautiful place in Vienna. You need a whole day to see it all, as the palace inside is magnificent, the gardens are beautiful and the zoo is a must see.
From Schoenbrunn Palace we took the subway (very interesting, as it goes also outside) directly to St. Stephen’s Cathedral, exactly in the heart of Vienna. This is also one of my favourite places…the Cathedral and the square are beautiful, many chic cafes, shops, beautiful architecture, nice people…What a life!
Walking towards Hofburg Palace is a pleasure as everywhere you look you see statues, classic buildings, parks and it’s just a joy to be a part of it.
Autumn is a splendid time to visit new places, specially when the weather is nice, sunny and you can enjoy the beautiful colors of nature.
It was a lovely trip my friends…as always.
